Abstract:

This article describes a new Multi-Parameter Training and Monitoring Equipment for Sailing which integrates the data collection, analysis, storage functions, transmission and real-time display. The equipment uses the ARM technology, sensor technology and wireless data communication technology to simultaneously collect the indices of longitudinal and cross dips, course, speed, location, wind speed, wind direction, etc. It can monitor and record the movement of several athletes at the same time. The self-made special instrument will offer the athletes training assistance and provide reliable technical monitoring.
