The Operation Optimization Test of Main Steam Pressure on Large Coal-Fired Power Unit

Article Preview

Abstract:

In this paper, a sub-critical 600 MW power generating unit produced by Shanghai Turbine Generator Corporation has been used for the operation optimization test of main steam pressure. The test has chosen seven loads and four run ways during peaking loads. The economical sliding pressure operation curve of peak load unit can be obtained from the test. The experimental results show that the unit should choose rated pressure operation when load is larger than 470MW, and choose two valve points sliding pressure operation when load is under 470MW to get the lowest heat consumption.
