The paper analyses the renewal and adaptation modes of modern architectural heritages. The detailed rehabilitation techniques have been introduced from six perspectives such as the structure reinforcement. Every method has its merits and problems. The choice is made in accordance with the protection requirement, the condition of the building, and the target use of the restoration, etc.
