Applied Research on the Decorative Materials in Indoor Underground Public Space

Abstract:

With the development of underground traffic construction in China, more and more indoor underground space has become the place for people’s gatherings and departures. In such a relatively enclosed space with lack of natural light and poor air circulation, the unfavorable influence of decorative materials on human beings’ physiology and psychology grows more remarkable. This paper intends to make a preliminary study on the ways of applying the decorative materials to satisfy more reasonably the people physical and mental demands, thus exploring a new design concept on the application of material.
