Research on Correction for Errors of TV-Guided Projectile Caused by Ballistic Vertical Wind

Abstract:

According to the principle of TV-guided projectile, the impact of ballistic vertical wind for guidance precision in TV guidance segment was analyzed, and the distance errors caused by ballistic vertical wind was calculated by simulation, then error-correcting formula was fitted by binary quartic polynomial. The fitted values was compared with firing table values, the results prove fitting formula can meet the accuracy requirements, so the error-correcting formula can provide a theoretical basis and technical methods to improve the accuracy of TV-guided projectile.
