Abstract: It studied the early stability model of tunnels and establish the computer information system of early stability by using general software of ANSYS and Matlab in the paper. Firstly,the stress is displayed successfully through the model of stress intensity checking and algorithm. Then,it analyzed the influence of stress on surrounding rock in the arching process by using ANSYS software to calculate stress distribution in surrounding rock.Finally,it obtained the visualization display by using Matlab. Due to the limited conditions of computer, the numerical modeling process can not simulate the real situation of surrounding rock,we can only use approximate models to replace the whole rock system.

Abstract: Urban lakes are an important part of water environment, not only providing a place for people to entertain, but also one of the higher value services ecosystem. With the accelerating pace of urbanization in China, the development and utilization of resources increasingly strengthened urban lakes, thus sustainably creating lakes landscape is extremely urgent. In this paper, by taking NiuShan Technology Eco-City as a case study, ecological, geographical, social, functional and economic principles are proposed. From a landscape, environmental and ecological perspective, and according to the order of terrestrial water landscape among other aspects, it primarily explores landscape planning around lake zones in the city.

Abstract: Under the framework of "Kyoto Protocol", CDM mechanisms and the formation of carbon financial markets supply a platform for developing countries to participate in the global greenhouse gas emission reduction activities. PCDM projects will be the inevitable choice in the area of energy-saving construction. This paper analyzes the CDM mechanism and the applied limitations of CDM in the field of energy-saving residential building and then it points out the potential of PCDM in Chinese energy-saving construction and finally puts forward suggestions for promoting the residential building PCDM projects

Abstract: The promotion and implementation of green public building make important significance for constructing resource saving and environment friendly society in China. The paper analyzes the connotation of value engineering and green public building, demonstrates the necessity of the theory of value engineering application in green public building investment in the decision-making, and the application process are analyzed, especially adopts the environmental benefit , personal benefits and social efficacy as objective function of green public building. The Analytic Hierarchy Process and fussy evaluation are used to quantify the function indexes. Finally investment decisions of green public building are proposed based on value engineering.

Abstract: Decoration engineering as an important force in building industry, it has been plagued by low levels of technology management, engineering and serious waste problem over years, how to optimize the process to achieve value added decoration has become an urgent problem. This paper describes the current status and value chain theory of decoration industry, analyzes the constituent elements of the value chain, establishes decorative optimization index systems based on the value chain method, and finally a case verified the validity of it.

Abstract: Theoretical investigations on cnoidal waves interacting with breakwater resting on permeable elastic seabed are presented in this paper. Based on the shallow water reflected wave theory and Biot consolidation theory on wave-induced seepage pressure, the analytical solutions to first order cnoidal wave reflection and wave-induced seepage pressure are obtained by the eigenfunction expansion approach. Numerical results are presented to show the effects of depth of water, breakwater geometry on cnoidal wave-induced seepage uplift force and overturning moment. Compared with Airy wave theory, in certain shallow water conditions, the shallow water wave theory can more effectively illustrate wave nonlinearity effect in wave load prediction.

Abstract: The dam crack is a crucial factor in the safety running of a dam. It turns out that Shenwo Reservoir dam has plenty of gate piers with multiple penetrative cracks through our on-site inspection, which threatens the safety of the dam greatly. The causations of the gate pier cracks of concrete dam were investigated using three-dimensional finite element method (FEM). Possible causations to induce cracks were considered and a sensitive analysis was studied on temperature drop. The result shows that serious dam cracks are not possible to appear if the gate pier is under normal structural loadings, while the drop temperature and ice bulge from seepage water are the main reasons in northern cold region for concrete dam to have cracks.

Abstract: Roof greening is a promising solution for improving urban thermal environment and water quality. This paper studies the performance of a green roof with and without a self-management system, including the irrigation and shadowing subsystems, during a 3-month period via extensive experiments. Sedum plants are planted using two growing media. The first media consists of perlite and peat soil and the second media consists of average soil. Plant growth indices include vertical and horizontal growth rate as well as survival rate. Results show that a 100% survival rate can be achieved via intensive irrigation and shadowing. Meanwhile, an 8°C temperature decrease was observed during the hot season. The most suitable substrate depth is 9cm in terms of thermal effect and survival rate.
