The Design of Mobile Phone Multimeter Based on the Android Platform

Abstract:

This paper presents a design of mobile phone multimeter based on the android platform, the multimeter can be used to measure DC voltage, DC current, AC voltage, AC current, resistance, capacitance, frequency and duty ratio etc.This design combines a mobile phone and a multimeter, the multimeter is simplified as a unit of measurement, MCU only as a core element of control and measurement, Bluetooth module HC - 06 will sent the real-time measurement data to mobile phone. Based on the flexibility and diversity of the Android APP development, the potential function of multimeter will be motivated ,which can be used as a detection device of all kinds of power output of the sensor device or Wireless transmitting device and realize the true "universal"
