Abstract: Thepresent work investigated the effects of grain refiners Mg-30%La alloy on theimpact properties of Al-7Si Alloy. Theresults showed that the addition of Mg-30%La greatly fined the crystal grain. As La content increased in Al-7Si alloy, the alpha-Al with dendritic crystal were refined and the trend of the equiaxedcrystal had obvious enhancement. The introduce of the Mg-30%La cangovern the morphology of the Si phase. With increase of Mg-30%La content, refining effect was better.

Abstract: The [Fe-Co-Si (2 nm)/native oxide]N multilayer films weredeposited on glass substrate by DC magnetron sputtering. The effect of repetitionnumber N on static and dynamicmagnetic properties of the multilayer films was investigated. Good soft magnetic properties have been obtained inthe multilayer films with repetition number more than 30. Relatively highvalues of the complex permeability and ferromagnetic resonance frequency wereobtained and they can be adjusted by changing the repetition number of themultilayer films.

Abstract: In this paper, the development of indoor fire and burning characteristics of thedecorative materials and toxic fumes produced were analyzed. In addition, toxicitytests were made on the typical decorative materials based on animals exposedexperiment. As a result, such as calcium silicate board and gypsum board areall up to AQ1, other decoration materials, carpet, toxicity levels of otherdecoration materials such as carpet, wood and fabrics are from ZA3 to ZA1,which are quite differentof the same type material, and accordingly, the fire hazard of those materialsare also different significantly.

Abstract: This paper presents a systematic study of the nano-sized structure and temperature dependent electrical properties. A method of synthesizing the self-assembled multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) nanopaper on hydrophilic polycarbonate membrane was explored. The process is based on the very well-defined dispersion of nanotube and controlled pressure vacuum deposition procedure. The experiment results show that the ratio changes of MWCNT in the nanopaper could lead to the changes in the electrical conductivity efficiency of the nanopaper. Furthermore, the electrical resistivity of MWCNT nanopaper decreased as temperature increase.

Abstract: N-octadecane microcapsules phase change materials(MicroPCMs) were prepared by thein-situ polymerization method using n-octadecane as core materials, urea-formaldehyde resin as shellmaterials respectively. Melamine–formaldehyde (MF) microcapsules have been widely applied inmany functional materials. Free formaldehyde content are important safetyfactor determining the survival of the microcapsules during fabrication andapplication. In this study, the formaldehyde content of n-octadecane MicroPCMs decrease to 0.35g/Kg which even lower than the standard EuropeanE3 level (0.6g/Kg) through regulation the synthesis conditions such as urea/formaldehyderatio of weight from 1:2 to 1:1.6, urea batch feeding three times ,curing endpH value to 1.0-1.5,reactive time extend to 4h,addition melamine and PVA.

Abstract: The calculations of the dimer, trimer and tetramer molecules of polyacrylonitrile (PAN) using the quantum-chemical method are carried out. The computer simulation of formation of a polymer PAN chain by the Monte-Carlo method taken with the Metropolis and Wang-Landau algorithm is done. Technology of fabrication of gas-sensing material based on metal-containing PAN is developed. Electroconductive metal-containing PAN films are fabricated by method of pyrolysis under the influence of incoherent IR-radiation. Their sensing properties are studied.

Abstract: The research studies the chemical modification of nano TiO2 and its application in the preparation of binder of artificial marble with superior comprehensive performance. Considering the content of coupling agent(KH-570), modification time, hydrolysis temperature and condensation temperature as the main influence factors, through orthogonal test designs, the optimal modification parameters were obtained. The results show that the hydrophobic of modified nanoTiO2 can reache 47%, and the artificial marble using polyster binder with modified nono TiO2 as binder obtains compressive strength as high as about 100 MPa.

Abstract: Combined strengthening-toughening technologies of several high property titanium alloys, such as TC4-DT, TC6, TC18, TC21 for aviation uses, have been studied via purification, quasi-b heat treatment, quasi-b forging and grain refinement. The effects of microstructure parameters of lamellar structure, basket-weave structure, refined grain structure etc. on the comprehensive mechanical properties of titanium alloys have been analyzed. The results have shown that, to acquire highly comprehensive static mechanical properties and excellent damage tolerance properties, quasi-b treatment and purification processing should be used for medium strength titanium alloys to get high ductility lamellar structure, while quasi-b forging processing be utilized for high strength titanium alloys to obtain high ductility basket-weave structure. Grain refinement processing is very necessary for both the strength levels of titanium alloys.

Comparison of the Capacity of Chitosan and Iron Hydroxide Flocs for Phosphate Adsorption in Seawater
Abstract: Adsorption is proposed as an effective method for phosphate removal in real seawater with low phosphate concentration. This paper aimed to investigate the capacity of chitosan and iron hydroxide flocs for phosphate adsorption in real seawater, and the results shown iron hydroxide flocs had better performance of phosphate adsorption than chitosan.
