The Failure Analysis and the Innovative Design of Hammer Head on Hammer Crusher Based on TRIZ Theory

Article Preview

Abstract:

This article analyzes the failure modes associated with the issues of easy-wearing and short service-life of hammer head on hammer crusher under load condition. The key factor of wearing is identified. In applying the invention principle in TRIZ theory while considering the actual working conditions, technological solutions of modular hammer head and rotary hammer head are proposed. In these two solutions, the worn hammer bodies can be replaced quickly by the hammer heads while the hammer handles can be used repeatedly, achieving the goals of extending service-life, increasing the material utilization rate and reducing the repair cost.
