Research of Distribution Automation System FA Function Test Method

Abstract:

Feeder automation (FA) function is a very important part of distribution automation system (DAS). In this paper, the current main way to achieve the FA functions is introduced, and the testing method of FA function is studied, based on the requirements of the standard distribution automation systems. Meanwhile the standardized testing method and testing process is researched according to the characteristics of implementation. The paper also brings forward a set of feasible testing methods of FA function of DAS.
