Analysis of Electromagnetic Field in Auto Starter Based on Ansoft

Article Preview

Abstract:

Starter motor is an important part of the auto starting system. The basic electromagnetic field distributions of the starter motor considering the armature reaction have been obtained by using Ansoft software, also the magnetic field and flux density of the air-gap. The results of the Gauss Meter validate the accuracy of the finite element model. The main conclusions are helpful to the performance analysis, model calculation and optimization design of the auto starter.
