Modelling and Simulation of the 150° Conduction Mode Quasi Space Vector PWM Inverter Fed Permanent Magnet Brushless DC Motor

Article Preview

Abstract:

This paper presents an alternative space vector pwm scheme of 150o conduction mode for the three phase voltage source inverter (3PVSI) with the switching periods, of six switches, determined by the Quasi Space Vector (QSV) relevant to the rotor of the three phase Permanent Magnet Brushless DC(3PPMBLDC) Motor. Performance can be delineated through the dynamic model of 3PPMBLDC motor with the simulations of torque and speed characteristics when applied by 3PVSI with this modulation scheme.
