The Possibility of Using Knowledge from Unconventional Financing of Suburban Bus Transport as an Innovative Tool for Cost Reduction in Logistics

Abstract:

The paper deals with the possibility of using knowledge from unconventional financing of bus transport as an innovative tool for cost reduction in logistics. The first part provides an overview of financing road transport including public passenger transport in Slovak republic (with dividing on railway transport, bus transport and urban public transport). Other part of paper describes option of using CNG fuel in suburban bus transport in particular company (SAD Zilina). Also this part contains economic comparison between diesel and CNG buses.
