Abstract:

In the paper were analyzed main statistical characteristics of foreign trade for metal-processing industry in Serbia in period of 2008-2014. In order to convey a more comprehensive overview of tendencies as well as changes that appeared in frame of foreign trade we analyzed the dynamics and structure of export and import of individual products and product purpose. Analysis shows that during the observed period some of the trade indicators have improved but the main problems still remain such as high level of deficit and unsatisfactory export structure.
