Quality and Environmental Evaluation Methodsfor Metallic Materials Industry

Article Preview

Abstract:

We present in our article some original quality evaluation methods for Metallic Materials Industry (MMI). Also we present categories of environmental performance indicators. They should therefore be cost-effective and appropriate to the size and type of organization and its needs and priorities. The paper presents the main methods of technical-economical analysis of the quality of the metallic materials industry. There are mainly presented and analyzed a specific analysis models. Both the analysis methods for products (A) and the ones for companies (B) are presented in comparison. The main results consist of the correlation between the technical – economical analysis methods and the mathematical models used. Also we present in our article the main categories of environmental performance indicators: comparability, balance between problematic (bad) and prospective (good) areas, continuity, timeliness, clarity, operational performance indicators, management performance indicators, environmental condition indicators.
