Calculating PA Matrix of Transit Trip from Passenger Flow Volume

Abstract:

This paper presents an approach to calculate PA matrix of transit trip from passenger flow volume. This approach is based on inverse calculation of distribution matrix by observing traffic flow and the characteristics of public transit planning in practical investigation is taken into account. It also suggests the method to test the accuracy of final matrix.
