Experimental Study on Durability of Air-Entrained Concrete of Qingdao Bay Bridge

Abstract:

The permeability, frost-resistance and deicer-frost resistance of air-entrained concrete of Qingdao Bay Bridge were studied. The results show that frost-resistance and deicer-frost resistance of concrete can be enhanced by a big margin and impermeability of concrete can be also improved by appropriate air-entrainment. The frost-resistance and deicer-frost resistance of concrete samples gathered from site were inspected and they can meet the design demand for durability of concrete Qingdao Bay Bridge.
