Design of Medium Pressure Water Asphalt Heating Equipment

Abstract:

In many fields such as asphalt concrete pavement, hot and liquid asphalt is a kind of necessary material. Medium pressure water heating is a new method for asphalt storage or heating with advantages such as safety, energy conservation and low pollution. Heating furnace is the key part for this closed cycle system, and two 800KW medium pressure water heating furnaces are adopted to supply enough thermal energy for the heating system to ensure asphalt working temperature. To ensure asphalt storage volume and strength, size and steel plate thickness of asphalt tank are calculated. Three-layer structure of tank wall is designed to reduce heat dissipation, which is of 5mm inner wall and 1mm outer protection layer filled with 60mm rock wool layer.
