Systems Dynamics Analysis of Jiangsu Province’s Low-Carbon Economy System - Based on the Carbon Tax Perspective

Abstract:

System dynamics was used to analyze the Low-carbon economy in Jiangsu province. Low-carbon economy system was build by economic, social, energy and environmental subsystems. Based on the analysis of the subsystems characteristics and internal factors affect, the Low-carbon economy system dynamics model in Jiangsu province was build. Carbon tax was treated as an exogenous variable to Jiangsu province low-carbon economy system. Carbon tax impact mechanisms of the economic system were analyzed. System dynamics structure analysis was taken on the Jiangsu province low-carbon economy system form the carbon tax effect perspective. Then Jiangsu province low-carbon economy system was drowned.
