Abstract:

In the corporate world, organizations that have efficient managements, conquer markets and establish themselves for a long period of time. Companies that produce through continuous processes have a guaranteed market for their products, as is the case of the sustainable fuels area; they should lose no time in the production. This research aims to improve the use of milling of a plant that produces ethanol through sugarcane, using the junction of the Quality Tools with the PDCA Cycle. The research sought to improve the main problems identified as the cause of milling yield utilization below the target of a company. After the implementation of the improvements it was possible to make a comparison between the yields before and after the improvements, showing positive results.
