Abstract: The SYS Cam-clay model, which is extended based on the Cam-clay model and the critical state theory, is able to describe the heavily overconsolidated and structure soils. However compared with Cam-clay model with five elasto-plastic parameters there are six additional evolutional parameters in SYS Cam-clay model and the sensitivity analysis of the new added parameters should be carried out. Through the calculation of constitutive response assuming the uniform deformation field, the sensitivities of degradation index of structure, degradation index of overconsolidation ratio and rotational hardening index are investigated respectively. It can be seen that the peak strength and the “rewinding behavior” in the effective stress path are influenced greatly while there is no coupling effect of these parameters mutually. The initial overconsolidation ratio and degree of structure also have an effect on the mechanical behavior and the initial specific volume.

Abstract: A new combined structure has been presented which is filled polyurethane between the concentric inner and outer steel tubes. ANSYS is adopted. Different thickness of polyurethane are used to change the hollow ratio. The results show polyurethane material, not only significantly improves the bearing capacity, but also improves structure ductility to some extent.

Abstract: This paper discusses the acoustic-structural coupling analysis of muffler in which the method of the finite element is used to solve the differential equations. Firstly, according to the symmetry of muffler, by using coordinate transformation the sound field problem is converted from three-dimensional to two-dimensional problem. Secondly, by using Galerkin method derives finite element equations of discrete plane sound field unit. Then the cell boundary conditions and residuals are analyzed which included acoustic-structural coupling border. The unit matrix equations are set to plane acoustic finite element matrix equation. Finally, the design of the finite element method coupled equations of solid sound is designed. A theoretical foundation is established for muffler acoustic-structural coupling characteristic analysis.

Abstract: electromagnetic wave theory was used by ground penetrating radar, the defects in concrete dams were judged according to the measured concrete reflection waveform, frequency and wave velocity. The working principle of ground penetrating radar and numerical simulation process based on the finite different time domain method were studied, cracks, voids images in concrete was forward simulated by the above method. It was important to determine the quality defects in concrete.

Abstract: Based on the actual design and construction experience, the application of cement-soil in road and bridge foundation is designed. First of all, the basic parameters of foundation soil are determined through coring; then, the mix proportion of cement-soil is designed; Finally, the structural design is conducted on cement-soil according to different usages. The results show that using the cement-soil to improve the road and bridge subgrade, it can not only effectively improve the subgrade strength and durability, but also be convenient for construction, save a lot of building materials and reduce the project cost, which has a great guiding significance on the design and construction of the bridge.

Abstract: The present paper presents the results of a study on the assessment of the damages caused by the arson that in March 2013 severely damaged the building of the "Science Centre" museum located in the western part of the city of Naples. The case is contextualized in the broader thematic of the evaluation of damages caused by intentional events to real estate assets. The peculiarity of the case under analysis appears particularly interesting both for the extend of damages caused by the fire and the methodological approach to be adopted for the “quantum” determination. The model implemented is based on the cost approach criterion, considering the physical and technological depreciation in the “status quo ante” the event. In particular, we will test a “functional component” approach to determine the depreciation function for each component due to the specificity of the scientific building under analysis. The results of the study confirmed that the proposed approach appears to be adequate to estimate the damage to the real estate assets, managing to capture the different components that contribute to determining the market value of the property at hand.

Abstract: This paper takes the Pingjiang historical street of Suzhou City as the research object. Through the material collection and the present situation investigation, combining with the modern construction technology and building category, it analyzes the renewal application of historical building material based on the “3R” principles that are reduce, reuse and recycle. It introduces what Suzhou has gone through and will experience in the historical building protection and sustainable development. It also makes the reflection and discussion on problems encountered as well as finds out the new idea and method for the protection of the building façade of the historic district so as to reasonably reconstruct and repair them.

Abstract: According to national standards and actual needs to test building envelope thermal performance, the thermal performance of building envelope testing system is designed based on infrared thermal imaging analysis, automatic testing, remote communication, wireless network and arithmetic average. It integrates many complex steps together into one system to complete testing work. Those steps had been done manually on different software in the past. It greatly improves the efficiency and reduces the cost of testing.

Abstract: Sand lining teethed pile is a new prestressed pile, and it has been gradually spread and used in Kun Ming of Yun Nan Province, meanwhile, it has achieved better work in practical engineering applications. Compared with common prestressed smooth pile, the working mechanism that tooth of the pile combines with the sand lining of the pile makes bearing capacity and the play speed of bearing capacity have significantly improved. This paper builds a three-dimensional entity pile base model with Midas GTS and analyzes the work performance of two kinds of precast piles from pile settlement and soil displacement around pile aspects. This template explains and demonstrates how to prepare your camera-ready paper for Trans Tech Publications. The best is to read these instructions and follow the outline of this text.

Abstract: The combination of PHC pile (prestressed concrete pile) with geogrid to reinforce the foundation has been widely used in high-speed railway, and the response of dynamic stress under the high-speed train is worth studying. By using Midas/GTS NX software to establish a 3-D model of pile-net composite foundation in one section of Hangzhou - Shenzhen line, the influence of pile-net composite foundation generated by high-speed train is studied. Moreover, this paper also studies the distribution and propagation of dynamic stress generated by train load in soft soil area. The results show that the dynamic stress reducing quickly in the embankment structure and the time –history curve of the dynamic stress behaves differently along the depth. With the depth increasing, there is phenomenon of peak superposition in the time-history curve of the vertical dynamic stress. In the meanwhile, the PHC pile is the main structure to propagate and sustain the dynamic stress in soft soil area, and with the tendency of ‘large in the middle, small on both ends’.
