Calculation for Power Consumption of Main Transformer Cooling System in Hydropower Plant Based on Pearson Correlation Coefficient

Article Preview

Abstract:

This paper presents a method based on Pearson correlation coefficient to calculate the power consumption of main transformer cooler aiming at the problem of inadequate historical data and low data precision. From the perspective of probability, the method take the temperature data of main transformer and the environment as the intermediate variable, and establish the relationship between operation mode of generator and operation group number of main transformer cooler and the running time of the corresponding, thus estimate the power consumption of main transformer cooling system. Through the practical example shows, the method can be conveniently used for the calculation of power consumption of main transformer cooling system.
