Jacquard Technical Research of the Three Layers Jacquard Curtain Fabric with UV-Shading Function and Two-Sides-Different Effects

Abstract:

In order to achieve the sided different effects and the function of UV shading of the three layers jacquard curtain fabric, we used two sets of the same common yarns as the warps, 2 groups of wefts in the front while 2 groups of wefts in the opposite and a group of TiO₂ polyester weft which plays the role of UV-shading. The fabric’s wefts arrangement ratio is 1:1:1:1:1. There are four kinds of weaves in the front and five in the opposite (seeing from the reverse side), then in overlaying the four kinds in the front with the five kinds in the opposite we can get 20 kinds of weaves. By integrating shading cloth and curtains with two-sides-different effects together, in the end, the three layers jacquard curtain fabric which has two-sides-different effects and UV-shading function is achieved.
