Abstract:

Through the analysis of modeling language and color application of the Miao nationality’s embroidery pattern of southeast of Guizhou Province, this paper aims to reveal its characteristics of collective pattern, heritage, chaotic thought of group creativity of folk art and primitive art; Besides, it reflects the simple world view and beauty-appreciation standpoint which is inherited by people of Miao nationality for generations. The characteristic and spirit of the Miao nationality’s embroidery pattern of southeast of Guizhou Province are frankness and straightforwardness. The abundant and highly unified modeling language of the Miao nationality’s embroidery pattern of southeast of Guizhou Province relates closely to modern painting and aesthetics theory modern times in form and content.
