Abstract: To implement intelligent lighting, a control system based on power line carrier (PLC) communication was proposed, which has wide application prospects compared with traditional lighting control system for not needing special serial communication line and wireless network. This paper designed a lighting control system with including an upper computer and lower computers, PLC modules, relays and etc. A PC is used as the upper computer which can control lower computers and a friendly interactive interface is designed. The lower computers are designed to control power on or off by relays. By working and testing, the proposed system works stabily and operates conveniently, which can satisfy requests of applications.

Abstract: There are various methods that are used in technical practice to increase the heat transfer intensification. One of the possibilities is the use of pipes with finished surface. The type of selected surface finish of the piping influences the flow of liquids in the piping and therefore also the heat transfers in a considerable way. The issue of the hydraulic diameter of the pipe with finished surface is outlined here. The increase of transferred density of the heat flow in a pipe with finished surface in comparison with a bare pipe of the same diameter is demonstrated by a practical example.

Abstract: In imaging measurements on the fluid flow, the quality of particle image is essential to the outcomes of the velocity field. The method to eliminate the problems of refraction and reflection is to match the refractive indices of the working fluid and the surrounding solid wall. In this article, a comprehensive summary of the refractive index matching method was presented. Three fluid materials, two organic and one non-organic was used to conduct index matching and their effect were compared. Results show the perfect index matching is effective to improve the measurement accuracy of imaging measurements.

Abstract: External trajectory equations of a certain cluster warhead were established according to the analysis of force during the motion process. The distribution on ground and some related motion parameters were got by MATLAB to solve the external trajectory equations. The influence of some factors on the distribution and terminal motion parameters were researched. The results show that the dispersion height and dispersion velocity are the most important factors. This paper can provide some reference for the research on the distribution of cluster warhead and determining operational scheme.

Abstract: With the rapid development of modern science and technology, the application of the Internet and of technology in Intelligent Agriculture has become more and more widespread. In this paper, a kind of aquaculture remote monitoring system based on the Internet Android platform is introduced. Using the system with many sensor nodes, information (such as pH value, temperature, water level, dissolved oxygen and other environmental parameters) can be collected remotely by many kinds of sensors (such as a pH sensor, temperature sensor, water level sensor, and dissolved oxygen sensor), and then the analog data collected can be transformed to be digital data. The digital data can be sent to an Android mobile system by socket communication. In the Android mobile control interface the data received from pound can be exported into a SQLite database, and the data in the SQLite database can be exported into a SD card and stored in the format of TXT. The filename stored is formed with the information from the time when the TXT file is saved (such as year-month-data-hour-minute-second) in order to avoid the problem of having the file overwritten by a file with the same name file. Therefore, the user needs not designate the name of the saving TXT file. To the Android application, many control nodes can be controlled remotely. The system adopts CC2430 as the underlying management chip. Temperature measurement accuracy of the system can reach 0.5°C. In addition, pH measurement accuracy of the system can reach 0.3. A good control algorithm can achieve good control precision. In our system, in order to obtain more control precision, an intelligent fuzzy PID control algorithm is applied in the remote MCU control system. Dissolved oxygen is a very important parameter in aquiculture. In the system dissolved oxygen control precision can be controlled within ±0.3 mg/L. Moreover, the SOKCET communication is designed in an independent thread to the system. Thus, the reaction of the control system is very sensitive. The function of the system is not limited by time, regional, and climate conditions. The interface of the application is designed in the Android Mobile phone, so the user can handle the application flexibly and conveniently, and the user can browse data from the mobile phone, send remote control commands, and control the bottom water, pump water supply pump, and aerator in any location with an Internet connection. The IP address is exported into a SQLite database, so the IP data can be obtained automatically from the database by the system after the application is started, and it does not need input from the user repeatedly. Many mobile phone clients of the system can share a single server. Thus, the system has a very high price-performance ratio. After practical testing of the system, it has the advantages of simple operation, fully able to meet the need of aquaculture. c.

Abstract: In this paper, blast effect of oil-associated gas in gas injection wells is determined when using air injection displacement, and on this basis, the relevant safety distance is determined also. Numerical simulation is used to calculate the overpressure distribution, explosion energy and TNT equivalence of combustible gas explosion in gas injection wells. Based on shock wave damage criterion, the safety distances in seven levels are obtained, which are personnel minor injuries, severe injuries, death, and destruction of buildings with mild, moderate, severe manage and destroying. Therefore, technical support is provided to accident prevention, emergency and rescue.

Abstract: Digital camera which has the advantage of real-time image transferring and easily processing is more and more widely used in the packaging and printing industry with the rapid development of high-tech electronics industry. However, the color in digital camera is not accurate which affect the application. To minimize the color difference between the color in the digital camera and the real color, the color reproduction methods is developing. The field comparative experiment is carried out to compare the performance of color reproduction methods, such as polynomial regression algorithm in different color space, and color checker passport. The results show that fourth order polynomial regression color reproduction in XYZ color space has the best performance.

Abstract: Belongs to sub-tropical zone marine climate, the Matsu islands are strongly affected by ocean monsoon and have plentiful wind power with average speed of 4.1-6.3 m/s. According to experiences of vertical-axis wind turbine, MDU has granted the bid of Matsu government’s “Low-Carbon Emission LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health And Sustainability)-type Vacation Islands” project to install two 4kW such generators: all composite patented blades’ design; new design and fabricated generators; remote monitor and merging network. The six-month test after completion of project shows the good efficiency of the whole wind-power generator system, and thus meets the custom’s specifications and also verifies the superiority of our wind turbines.

Abstract: This paper was dedicated to the study of small-scale solar chimneys by analyzing the influence of geometric parameters on the flow conditions and annual average exergetic efficiency. A mathematical model was developed to estimate the mass flow rate, the outlet and ground temperatures, based on an energy balance and empirical correlations from the literature. The geometry of a prototype built in the city of Belo Horizonte/Brazil was used as standard reference default. The parametric analysis showed that the most important parameters are the diameter of the tower and diameter of the collector and the height of the tower, since they promote larger changes in the airflow conditions and in the annual average exergetic efficiency.

Abstract: With the progress of linear motors and permanent magnet materials, three kinds of magnetization methods have developed for permanent magnet linear motor. Based on the analysis of magnetic field distribution of radial, Halbach and tangential magnetization, the impacts are investigated of these methods on performances of permanent magnet linear synchronous generator (PMLSG) through simulation. Advantages and disadvantages of these methods are unveiled by studying and comparing their flux linkage, magnetic detent force and EMF harmonics. A conclusion can be drawn that radial magnetization suits PLMLSG better.
