Fire Stations Deployment in Slovakia, Czech Republic and Germany

Abstract:

When defining the number of firefighters and the optimal deployment of fire stations, various factors influencing the development of damage, the consequences of emergencies, but also operational and tactical options firefighting units need to be considered.There are certain obligations in relation to the protection of citizens during fires and incidents delegated to community in Germany, Czech Republic and Slovakia. Appropriate distribution of fire units is realized with respect to the degree of organization of fire protection and its effectiveness can be evaluated for example using the criteria of accessibility of the fire unit.
