Bootstrapping Added Partial Search Strategy for GNSS Integer Ambiguity Resolution

Article Preview

Abstract:

Integer least square estimator is known to be optimal in GNSS ambiguity resolution. But it relays on a search in the whole ambiguity space which decreases the computational efficiency. A partial search strategy is proposed in this contribution. The new search is limited in an ambiguity space subset defined by the bootstrapping solution; the search-and-shrink approach is also introduced. Two experiments have shown the new search strategy promotes the computational efficiency a lot without a notable fixing property lost.
