Abstract:

The subject matter of the paper is the benchmarking process, representing a strong tool in the Facility Management aimed at making the performance of a certain process more efficient and thereby providing for reduction of costs in the operating phase of life cycle of buildings. The paper indicates the fundamental character in link to the latest part of the Facility Management standard, representing this process as one of the potential Facility Management tools.
