Analysis of the Sparrow Brace Culture of Traditional Wooden Architechture

Abstract:

The sparrow brace has experienced various of changes in shape, crafts, decoration, color during hundreds of years, which changed from a pure mechanical component into a unity of mechanics and aesthetics. The sparrow brace has brought traditional wooden architecture strength and beauty collision, dynamic and static combination and soothing and boosting coordination. The sparrow brace has become a bright pearl in traditional architectural decoration elements when its decorative significance surpassed structural significance in ancient architechture.
