Study on Anti-Overturning Design of Ramp Bridge Continuous Beam

Article Preview

Abstract:

Currently, a lot of ramps adopted continuous box girder with single column pier structure in a bridge design. If the structure is mishandled, the box girder is likely to cause overall overturn under overloaded vehicles. The cause of overturn is analyzed and calculated, and through comparing the anti-overturning ability of different substructures, the key design points are put foreword to provide some experience for the design.
