Analysis on Physical Evidence of Arc Grounding Fault in Single-Phase Circuit

Article Preview

Abstract:

The desired sampleswhich formed by the arc grounding fault in single- phase circuit of thisarticle were obtained through the simulating test. The results indicated thatthe multi-layer structure of the melted marks on copper conductors could beobserved through the metallographic analysis while the arc grounding fault in single-phasecircuit happened, which was the most significant characteristic betweenthe arc grounding fault and the short circuit fault. What's more, there were individualfeathers on the iron earthed object through its own metallographic analysis. The outcomes are intended to provide the significative references for those whoare dedicating themselves to investigating the fire scenes and identifying thephysical evidence.
