The Application of Dye Materials on Efficient Visible Light Photocatalysis

Article Preview

Abstract:

Dye-catalyzed enone cycloaddition under visible light is described. A variety of dyes were screened, rhodamine B was found best for this reaction. Kinds of symmetrical aryl bis (enones) were well tolerated. The cyclizations could also be conducted using sunlight as the only source of irradiation.
