Cracking Analysis of Q235-B Steel Plate in Cold-Bend Process

Article Preview

Abstract:

Q235-B steel plate occurs local cold-bend cracks which were inspected by macro-analysis, and it’s profile was inspected by metallurgical microscope and SEM. Serious segregation was found at portion of steel plate, moreover uneven metallurgical and thick inclusion were found. Spectrum results declared those inclusions were sulfides. Those inclusions and serious segregation were reasons that cause cracks.
