This article introduced a method of designing rear mounted fluid coupling transmissions for deceleration with heavy power, as well as innovation in its architecture and difficulty in manufacture. All of these are valuable for the designers and researchers in fluid coupling transmissions. On the other hand, we have combined finite element method and computer science in the stress analysis of pump wheel, which shows consistent result in the calculation and practical use.
