Study on the Leisure Chair Design of Elderly People

Abstract:

Through the survey of the use of leisure chair in elderly people’s leisure life, we grasp the needs features of elderly people for leisure chair and the product features at present, and propose some unreasonable factors of leisure chair; On the basis of survey, we analyze the characteristics of elderly people’s leisure behavior, and discuss the design trend of elderly people’s leisure chair in future, from the perspective of physiological characteristics of elderly people and the use of Human Engineering in chair design, etc. The research may provide some suggestions and references for the development of elderly people’s leisure products.
