Design on Single Stage Reciprocating Air Compressor Based on Virtual Prototype Technology

Article Preview

Abstract:

The design of the virtual prototyping frame construction, the work flow and its method of the realization on the air compressor are to be elaborated. Based on the analysis of the structure of air compressor operating mechanism, the 3-dimension model and virtual assembly of this product were done by CAXA solid design software. The assembly file of operating mechanism in CAXA was imported into ADAMS by parasolid transmission standard, kinematics simulation of operating mechanism of the reciprocating air compressor was realized. The design cost is reduced and the design cycle is shorten through this method. the research results have reference value to the design and simulation of similar parts.
