Abstract:

Due to the low level of overvoltage withstand and over-current withstand, the overvoltage caused by direct lightning stroke, lightning-wave intrusion, lightning induction etc. can pose an enormous threat to video surveillance system device, and the lightning protection problems appear very important. Adopt effective lightning protection measures in the light of lightning harm features of the constituent parts of video surveillance system like front-end device, transmission lines, surveillance center, etc. Practice has proved that the proposed lightning protection measures can play an important role for improving the security of video surveillance system.
