Design and Application of Multi-Well Automatic Metering and Remote Monitoring System

Article Preview

Abstract:

A PLC-based multi-well automatic metering and remote monitoring system has been developed to improve metering accuracy, realize multi-well continuous metering and meet the needs of remote monitoring. A three-level management mode consisting of metering station, oil production crew and oil production plant is built. The metering station is used to control the metering order, monitor the working condition of oil wells and upload metering data to oil production crew through wireless module; the oil production crew is used to receive the instantaneous data from the metering station and upload the statistical data to the server in the oil production plant; the oil production plant is used to browse and manage the data from every oil production crew through internet and the website of oil field data management system has been developed based on B/S frame. Field test shows that this system can accurately meter and analyze oil production data, generate needed reports and graphs with the functions of automatic metering, remote transmission, data analysis and queries.
