Effect of Technics Parameter on Synthesis of Paraffin-Polystyrene Microsphere

Abstract:

The paraffin-polystyrene microsphere was synthesized by the suspension polymerization technology, the effect of the technics parameter on the diameter distribution of paraffin-polystyrene microsphere was studied such as the velocity of agitation, the heating rate and the reaction time. The results showed that the optimum velocity of agitation is 300rpm, the diameter of microsphere become littler and the distribution of diameter become uniformity with the heating rate become slower, the optimum reaction time is 3.5~4h.
