Abstract:

The Muslim architectural heritage has outstanding historical, artistic value, because of the character and integrity of architectural form, unique cultural landscape in Muslim neighborhood. As the extension of "architectural heritage" concept, the public space in Muslim community is very important tie which contact various architectural heritage together. It also acts as adhesives between single building and whole history block, prompting the formation of the whole block structure characteristics from "point" to "face", thus play an important urban functions in the city. The paper analysis the Complexity and contradiction of public space environment update in Muslim community, it select DA XUEXI district as the research case, and actively explore the idea of renovation, protection in Muslim community. On the basis of investigation, the article analysis the update working ways and methods of the public space planning in Muslim community, and point out the shortcomings of the current research and development direction in the future.
