Abstract:

Based on the view of construction market in towns and villages energy-saving housing in China, combining the theory of information asymmetry, this paper will analyze the reasons of information asymmetry existing in construction market of towns and villages energy-saving housing and investigate the problems of information asymmetry and adverse selection between the real estate developers and residents. Referring to the advanced experience from abroad, it can be argued that establishing an appropriate building energy-saving technology evaluation index system is an effective way to solve market failure in towns and villages housing market.
