Investigation on the Rheological Behaviors of Styrene- Butaidene- Styrene Block Copolymer Solution

Article Preview

Abstract:

The viscoelastic behaviors of cyclohexane and dimethylbenzene SBS solutions with different concentrations have been investigated through dynamic rheological methods. The effects of solvent properties, concentration, stress and frequency on the rheological behaivors of SBS solutions have been carried out. The results show that the curves of dynamic shear stress tests show two modulus plateau, the dynamic moduli of dimethylbenzene SBS solutions are higher than those of the cyclohexane SBS solutions because dimethylbenzene is good solvent for SBS and the viscoelastic behaviors of solutions exhibit strong dependence on concentration.
