A Review of Construction Waste Treatment in China

Article Preview

Abstract:

China is one of the countries with the most amounts of new buildings in the world each year. The number of the construction waste has already accounted for 30% to 40% of the total city garbage. So it is necessary to study the construction waste treatments. There are many research results in recent years. These results can be divided into three parts, which are the policy studies, the management mechanism and the techniques of the construction waste treatments. The paper discusses and analyses them. Based these research results the paper gets the conclusion that three aspects should continue to be studied, which is the unified calculation formula of the construction waste quantity, the construction waste industrialization and the support and incentive mechanism research.
