A Research on Job Satisfaction for Employees in Jiangxi
Job satisfaction is a pleasurable motional state resulting from the appraisal of one’s job or job experiences. It is so important to job performance. The research give an investigation to employees in Nanchang, using factor analysis to identify the job satisfaction of the four dimensions include: work itself, pay, policy and interpersonal relationship. Than we use this model to compare the job satisfaction from gender, age and education level. The statistical results are as follow: (1) Females’ satisfaction with work itself, company policy, interpersonal relationship and pay satisfaction are all higher than male, but there are no significant differences between male and female. (2) the age above 35 are more satisfied with their job, the means of work itself, policy, interpersonal relationship, pay and total satisfaction are more higher than the age under 35. Especially, there are significant different about work itself, interpersonal relationship and pay satisfaction between the age above 35 and under 35. (3) It has no significant different job satisfaction between low education level people and high education level people.
