Synthesis and Growth Mechanism of NbSe2 Nanostructures

Article Preview

Abstract:

Nb and Se elements were encapsulated in a quartz ampoules (Ø8×100mm), Then heated to 750°C and keep the quartz ampoules at corresponding temperature for 1h. Nanowires of NbSe2 were obtained. This method is simple and minimizes the pollution. The nanostructure was investigated by XRD、EDAX、SEM、TEM and HRTEM. The results show that the nanostructures have outer diameters in the 40~200nm range, with lengths in excess of several hundred nanometers. Besides, growth process of nano- structure was discussed.
