Research on Measurement Technology of Impulse Current Based on Hall Sensor

Article Preview

Abstract:

A method based on Hall sensor is presented in order to measure pulsed current. Measuring device, which is based on CS3500 series linear Hall-effect ICs, is designed and calibrated. 4.3/102μs pulses are applied to the measuring device. Test results show that this device can well reproduce the shape of the measured current, and the maximum peak amplitude of the pulsed current that the device can measured is 83.3kA.
