Study on Improvement of Manufacturing Cycle Effectiveness of Apparel Vendor - Case Study of Order Scheduling and Batch Feeding manegement and Control

Abstract:

With the structural adjustment and industry transformation of the domestic apparel enterprises, as well as the rise of fast fashion, apparel manufacturing cycle time reduction and on time delivery rate have become performance indicators for brand enterprises to choose apparel vendors. In this paper, jeans processing factory is taken as a case study of apparel vendor. The improvement of production order scheduling and reasonable batch feeding process is analyzed to provide feasible programs for apparel vendors to achieve shorter manufacturing cycle, on time delivery and throughput increase.
