Study on the Composition and Explicit/implicit Effect of Woven Texture

Article Preview

Abstract:

The article discusses the impact of composition elements of fabric on explicit/implicit effect of woven texture, which aims to form basic ideas of designing fabric appearance effect. Based on analyzing the composition of fabric texture, the author highlights the effect of fabric composition elements, such as materials, weave and density, on the clarity of fabric texture, The result shows that the weave grain will be clearer when the twists of warp and weft yarns are in the same direction. The weave grain will be less clarity as the increase of fabric voidage. The clarity of Jacquard fabric depends on the basic weave and yarn direction.
