Automatic Control Theory is a required course of great importance for students who major in automation. During the winter semester of 2010, School of Mechatronics Engineering and Automation of Shanghai University has launched a bilingual-teaching program on Automatic Control Theory for the first time. This paper explores the contents, methods and models of bilingual-teaching in Automatic Control Theory based on the experience and review of this program in Shanghai University. Some methods and measures are proposed in this paper to improve the quality of bilingual-teaching in Automatic Control Theory by making analysis after the collection of students’ survey results.
