Synthesis and Luminescent Characterization of Highlight Blue Mg (II) Materials

Article Preview

Abstract:

A new highlight blue luminescent material has been prepared by the reaction of Mg (II) ion with 1-acetyl-2-naphthol-4, 4’-diaminodiphenylsulfone. The material was analyzed by infrared spectrum and elemental analysis. The luminescent properties of Mg (II) material were studied in solid in CH3OH, in CH3CH2OH and in DMSO solution, respectively. The results show that the Mg (II) material exhibits highlight blue luminescence emission, and exhibits the strongest fluorescence in CH3CH2OH solution than in solid and in CH3OH and in DMSO solution.
